Shamble Rules
• Gross and net tournament.
• Both players hit a tee shot on every hole.
• Choose the better tee shot. Each player will play his own ball from that spot.
  a. If the ball is in the fairway, you may lift, clean, and place within one club-length.
  b. If the ball is in the rough, you must play the ball down. The player whose ball you have chosen to play will hit his ball as it lies. His partner will drop a ball as close as possible to where the original ball lay. If the dropped ball lands in the divot made by the first player, or rolls closer to the hole or onto the fairway, you must re-drop. If the same problem occurs on the second drop, place the ball where it hit the ground on the second drop.
• Each team must use 7 tee shots from each player (Par-3’s included).
• Record both players’ scores. Pick up when you are out of a hole. This is a better ball tournament – only one score will count on each hole.

COURSE INFORMATION
• Hit a provisional for any ball that may be lost outside a water hazard or OB.
• Most water hazards and lateral water hazards are not marked. The boundary of each unmarked hazard is determined by the cut line.

White Course
Bathroom is located past #2 green (turn left) and past #7 green on left.
#2: OB on left, tee to green. Lateral hazard on right, tee to green.
#3: Lateral hazard on right. Lake is a water hazard (drop area for men left of women’s tee box).
#4: Hole doglegs right 100 yards from green. OB on right, tee to green. If ball OB at fence, do not enter to retrieve – private property.
Lateral hazard on left.
#5: Lateral hazard on right. If boundary is not marked, imagine a boundary line where the ground begins to slope down. Your two club-length drop will be on flat ground.
#7: 201/122 yards to first bunker on right; 242/163 to carry second bunker.
Lateral hazard on left.
#8: Lateral hazard on right.
#9: Water hazard 80 yards from green. Tee to end of fairway: 266/202 yards

Blue Course
Portable bathroom is located at #4 green and #7 tee.
The greens on Blue are a little faster than White and have a little more break.
#2: Lateral hazard behind trees on right. If the hazard is not marked, the boundary is the edge of the green grass.
#3: To lay up on flat area before ground slopes down to water hazard: 252/150 yards. There is an interior fence on the left, 50 yards from the green, guarding a lateral hazard. If the ball is not in the hazard, free relief from the fence (nearest point, stance plus one club-length). If the ball is in the hazard, no relief from fence.
#4: Appendix I, Part B, Local Rule #1 in effect for men: If there is doubt whether the ball is in or is lost in the water hazard, you may play a provisional ball under any of the relief options for a ball in a water hazard (drop behind the hazard on line of sight to the hole or hit again from tee (26-1):
(1) If the original ball is found outside the water hazard, you must abandon the provisional and continue play with the original.
(2) If the original ball is found in the hazard, you have two choices: play the original as it lies, or continue play with the provisional.
(3) If original not found within five minutes, you must continue with prov. ball.
#6: To hidden pond on right: 218/173 yards. Aim your tee shot at the vertical yardage markers. Balls hit too far to the right of the markers may land in the pond. Pond begins just past last tree on right.
#8: To water hazard: 268/189 yards.
#9: To carry right bunker: 201/151 yards. OB on left behind trees.
